about

Since the release of 'Stages of early Development' Advent Resilience has continued to focus musically on the ambient, drum 'n bass and glitch styles. However there are elements of other genres to be found on the album. The tracks vary from spaced out lounge songs to noise like techno.

Literally atavism stands for 'the tendency to revert to ancestral type'. This is both a biological and social phenomenon. When you listen to the album you will hear different stages of a social cycle. When listened to repeatedly it will form a virtuous cycle. This cycle represent the smaller circle within the occurrence of 'Atavism'.
